  1. Summary of current employee retirement plan.
  2. Overview of investment options.
    1. Overview that clearly evaluates the merits of each investment option by assigning a three tiered rating system to each respective option in the plan (overall benchmark performance, hold, replace, or delete).
    2. Analysis of investment policy statement and procedural process for ongoing monitoring of investment options.
  3. Administrative and compliance overview.
    1. Revenue sharing structure.
    2. Review of corporate and investment advisor compliance over the plan, including review of plan due diligence procedures at a corporate level.
    3. DCA does not test controls for compliance protocols such as non-discriminatory testing (ADP, ACP), 404c, vesting schedules, or other compliance related activities, as these are generally captured in the annual audit performed on a plan.  
  4. Summary of aggregate expense overview that encompasses all costs imposed on participants.
    1. Which can include investment options, administrative, insurance related, and commissions .
  5. Service contract analysis.
    1. Will determine how delineation of fiduciary duty for various functions has been assigned between the various parties serving your plan.
    2. Analysis of risk in fiduciary duty towards the company.
  6. Summary of recommendations, that can be implemented to reduce potential legal risk that may arise from an “off benchmark plan” as quantified when compared to a battery of applicable benchmarks that define thresholds for well constructed benefit plans. 
    1. Recommendations are tailored to reflect the realities of your current plan architecture, and are designed to provide leverage for negotiations with your current third party services providers in order to successfully enable concessionary modifications in favor of the trust.
    2. For each corresponding analysis section, recommended courses of actions to rectify any deficiencies that may be identified are provided in a clear and concise manner.
